These are pictures of Chipmunks taken at their enclosure in the Auchingarrich Wildlife Centre in Comrie, Scotland.
Chipmunks are small squirrel-like rodents that move at a rate of knots around the place so we were very fortunate to get any photos at all. We are particularly pleased with the two pictures showing the Chipmunk perched on a tree stump as this was taken through wire and very quickly in order to capture the moment.
The Chipmunk is a very sweet, playful and attractive striped creature all happily sharing an enclosure and scampering around their environment.
