These are pictures of a Green Iguana.
The Green Iguana is a native of Central and South America. These lizards are very popular as pets and usually grow to about 2 metres in length and can weigh in at 5kg. Green Iguanas are herbivorous and only feed on flowers, leaves and fruit and can live in trees.
These photos show the detail of the features and skin on the Green Iguana who was very hard to spot given the neutral colours of its body and surroundings. However, this is a defensive creature who uses camouflage as a mechanism to defend itself. It wasn't too distressed at having its picture taken either!
