This is a picture of a Mudskipper, a cheeky little fish that is peeking over at us.

You might recognize the Mudskipper from an alcohol advert where he is feeling the effects of drink. Our photo shows that the Mudskipper is a very small, slipper wet fish with large bulging eyes that blink every so often. It is a member of the amphibian family and can survive in and out of water - how long for, we're not sure.

The picture shown below has the Mudskipper semi-submerged in its swamp surroundings. It was a photo taken through a glass container that was lit with a blue light from inside.
